"Shame" (Michael Fassbender, Nicole Beharie) on DVD/Blu Ray THIS TUESDAY 4/17! - Cool Animated Stills!
Tumblr is responsible for the animated Gifs! I couldn't help it; I had to share. :) Anyways, please make sure you catch Steve McQueen's critically-acclaimed drama "Shame," which comes out this TUESDAY 4/17 on DVD/Blu-Ray!
This film is about a sex-addict (Fassbender) who is unable to have meaningful relationships. He genuinely likes Beharie's character so he can't consummate his relationship w her! Dark, gritty, incredibly-acted stuff guys! Beharie is amazing in it! See our review of it HERE.
Check out the pics and trailer below..

The Jackie Robinson Awards Gala took place Monday, March 5th; Nicole Beharie was present along with some of the cast of the film 42, directed by Brian Helgeland. 42 is a film biopic of baseball icon Jackie Robinson, played by Chadwick Boseman (pictured with Beharie above). Beharie will star as Robinson's real life wife Rachel Robinson.
Now that I see Mrs Robinson and Nicole side-by-side, I have to agree Nicole was a good casting choice! They're both petite, good looking, plus they seem to have similar mannerisms...look at the hand placement in the pic below. :)
The film, which also stars Harrison Ford in the role of Branch Rickey, is in pre-production and set to be released next year.
Here are images from the event in which she's pictured with Chadwick Boseman, Rachel Robinson and the cast...I love this classy and demure look...less is more and Nicole is a perfect example of that. She's gorgeous without trying too hard.

Nicole Beharie was a guest star this past Wednesday 2/29 in this latest episode of Law & Order SVU: Child's Welfare. I unfortunately missed it when it aired; however it surfaced online the next day.
Beharie plays Tracy, a mother of two children, and the fiance of Simon, who is Olivia's estranged brother. Simon and Tracy's children are taken away from them by child's services. Simon reaches out to his sister and her team to fight the case.
I wish there was more Beharie in this episode, although I did enjoy her presence as usual. I love that the show's producers kept her beautiful hair au naturale.
Here's a special featurette courtesy of Cicala Filmworks. Nicole Beharie is shown throughout; I ejoyed watching Beharie in the music studio rehearsing the songs.
The film is still making its rounds at film festivals; it will screen at the Atlanta Film Festival March 23rd through April 1st.
Pretty cool, check it out!

I'll make sure to get the new Ebony issue in case there's more images and/or interview. Love, love this picture - a miniature supermodel! She's so diligent... WERK!!
Here's the text portion:
WHERE: CBS's The Good Wife and Shame
MOST STARSTRUCK MOMENT: When she worked with Alfre Woodard in the critically acclaimed American Violet. "I was in a van [being driven] to the set, and I was sitting behind her. I texted my sister, "I cannot believe this, Alfre Woodard is sitting in front of me. We're about to do a scene together!" I was totally freaking out, on the verge of shaking. She probably felt, "This little girl is sweating me a little too hard."
ARE YOU MORE LIKELY TO HAVE BREAKFAST AT 2 A.M. OR AT NOON?
"Neither. I wake up at the crack of dawn and get a lot done before most people are awake. I got up this morning, took a job, wrote, answered e-mail, made some breakfast. Mind you, this was all at 6 in the morning, so by the time everyone was up, I was done. Plus, I just like the sun. But at night when it's time to go out, I'm the party pooper. I'm the person who's like, "Maybe I'll go. I'm so tired."

After all the anticipation and media coverage, I was able to FINALLY catch Steve McQueen's Shame co-starring the lovely Nicole Beharie last night.
If you're not aware by now of what this film is about; here it goes...Brandon is a handsome, and almost disturbingly meticulous man who holds a successful job in NYC; but he is an unhappy sex addict who avoids intimacy at all costs, opting for meaningless sex instead. His life revolves around porn, masturbation and prostitutes. The film begins to unravel once his love-starved and troubled sister shows up at his place unannounced after he ignores her countless phone calls and voicemails.
